Troubleshooting
Bluetooth speaker connected but no sound
A saved Bluetooth pairing can exist while another device is playing the sound. Start with an active music track and check the selected playback destination on the phone or TV you are actually using.
Work through these checks
Choose the playback destination
Open the phone’s media output selector or the TV sound output list. Select the speaker by name while audio is playing. If the TV supports Bluetooth remotes but not Bluetooth audio, use a supported audio connection instead.
Check both volumes and the input
Raise media volume a little on the source and on the speaker. A soundbar with several inputs must be set to Bluetooth. Check that a different phone has not taken over the connection.
Reconnect nearby
Move the devices close together and reconnect through the normal Bluetooth menu. If pairing again is needed, use the pairing instructions for your exact speaker model. A factory-reset button combination is a different operation.
Try another source
Test the speaker with another compatible phone if one is available. If it works there, return to the original device’s output and app settings. If music works but TV voices are delayed, continue with the timing guide.
What did you find?
- Another phone works
- Check playback routing and pairing on the original source.
- Sound works nearby only
- Compare placement and obstacles before changing speaker settings.
